god is MUTHA teaser opening #1 (glory bound chronicles)
intro-
a holographic screen appears and streams of white strobe lights flash and dance. A tall dark skinned man, in a bright orange suit, walks up, front and center, where a spotlight is shining down on him. He begins an exciting announcement,
– “Who wants to make it into heaven?!..“.
An audience suddenly appears behind him, cheering and clapping.
– “EVERYBODY!!”, He shouts.
The audience roars in applause.
–“BUT...”, He dramatically pauses. “Only a few can make it in!”
Audience “Boo’s” in response.
The man continues, waving his hands in presentation:
– “I’m Bishop Bartholomew, and this..” (a holographic stage appears before the audience). “IS.. GOD IS MUTHA: Glory Bound Edition!”
Audience cheers and hollers. Bartholomew quiets the audience,
-“You see, we were all born with a talent. AND NOW.. Its time to cash in on that talent! If you want the BEST afterlife experience,” floating dollar signs appear, “..mansions, streets of gold and a cloud taxi service,” dancing clouds and golden stars twinkle and dazzle the audience, “You betta get you a ticket on the Glory Bound Train!”
A holographic golden express train rushes through the audience, in a dazzling light display. As it passes through, trails of stardust falls into the audience’s hands – as ‘small golden envelopes.’
close up views of the audience, captures “Happy“, “Excited“, and “Engaged” facial expressions, while a montage of people with various talents, appear on stage. Audience watching in awe.
A panel a judges sit adjacent to the audience. The first Judge speaks directly to the audience, while we see shots of the judges panel, audience in the background.
-Judge #1: “We know YOU’VE got what it takes!” the judge smiles encouragingly, towards the audience.
the 2nd judge follows up:
–“You THINK you can sing?.. SHOUT? or WORSHIP, better than the MASTER?!”, He stands up emphatically, “You BETTA bring it hunny!”, Snapping his fingers, flamboyantly.
The third judge yawns, seeming uninterested. Then robotically speaks up next,
-“god is looking for your talent, so if you want to get into the pearly gates, then come and audition for the glory bound competition.”
He points to the screens and smiles mechanically.
Streams of colored strobes lights and large digital text flash onto the screen. Fullscreen view of text and logo reads, “God is Mutha: Glory Bound Edition”, where Bartholomew’s smiling face is plastered next to the logo. A flashing “audition now” button flashes onto the screen.
